These terms apply to your use of the Wilsons Hunting & Outdoors website and to any purchase you make through it. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. We make every effort to ensure prices and product information are accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order. For restricted items, acceptance is also subject to the licence-verification process described on our Firearms Licensing page.

Payment

We accept direct bank transfer, and card payments via Windcave . Orders are not dispatched until payment has cleared. For restricted items, additional verification applies before dispatch.

Payment security

All card payments on this website are processed securely through Windcave, a PCI-DSS compliant payment service provider. Card details are entered directly on Windcave’s secure hosted payment page and are encrypted in transit. Wilsons Hunting & Outdoors does not collect or store your full card details on our own website. Card transactions are further protected by 3D Secure.

Restricted items

Firearms, ammunition and other restricted items are sold strictly in accordance with the Arms Act 1983 and only to holders of a valid New Zealand firearms licence. See our Firearms Licensing page. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any restricted sale where licensing or legal requirements are not met, and to refund any payment taken in that event.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Returns

Returns are handled in line with our Returns & Refunds policy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or products purchased through it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this site at the time of your order applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
