When you use our website or place an order, we may collect: your name, contact details, delivery and billing address, order details, payment information, and — for restricted purchases — firearms licence details necessary to complete the sale lawfully.

How we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, verify eligibility for restricted purchases, communicate with you about your order, meet our legal obligations as a firearms dealer, and (where you have agreed) send you updates or offers.

Firearms licence information

Where we collect firearms licence details, we use them only to verify eligibility and meet our obligations under the Arms Act 1983, and we store them securely.

Payment Card Data

All card payments on this website are processed securely through Windcave, a PCI-DSS compliant payment service provider. Card details are entered directly on Windcave’s secure hosted payment page and are encrypted in transit. Wilsons Hunting & Outdoors does not collect or store your full card details on our own website. Card transactions are further protected by 3D Secure.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate (for example payment, delivery and hosting providers), and with NZ Police or other authorities where required by law in connection with a restricted sale.

Your information is stored securely and we take reasonable steps to protect it.
